If you have had a testicle removed, a testicle implant can restore the appearance. A testicle implant is inserted via an incision in the scrotum. The implant has the natural shape and texture of a testicle. It is performed under a general anaesthetic and you will remain in our hospital overnight. Following the procedure, you will need to take some time off work, normally between seven to fourteen days. If one or both of your testicles are absent due to a medical condition or surgical removal, a testicular implant can help restore the normal appearance of the scrotum, improving your quality of life and confidence, and helping you feel better.
